To modernise Awen Cultural Trust’s digital presence with a clear, strategic website that communicates its purpose, showcases its services and spaces, and supports business-to-business engagement - all while remaining accessible, elegant, and easy for the internal team to manage.
The project began with a full redesign of Awen’s website to reposition it as a B2B-focused platform rather than a general public resource. Built with Framer, the new site delivers a bespoke, high-performing design that reflects Awen’s contemporary identity while prioritising simplicity and usability.
The layout and structure were completely re-imagined to guide visitors through Awen’s work, consultancy, and venue offerings, ensuring every page serves a defined purpose. The build was carried out fully in line with the organisation’s broader digital strategy, moving away from WordPress in favour of a faster, lighter, and more secure system.
The site combines clean, modern design with a custom content management system (CMS) that allows the Awen team to update pages, news articles, and job listings with ease. Every component was designed for flexibility and speed, ensuring the platform remains future-proof and scalable.
Accessibility and bilingual delivery were key priorities: the site is fully responsive across all devices, SEO-optimised, and offers seamless switching between English and Welsh. A new Newsroom section centralises case studies, press releases, and updates, reinforcing Awen’s position as a leading cultural organisation in Wales.
The result is a modern, bilingual, and purpose-driven platform that celebrates Awen’s work, strengthens its partnerships, and provides a lasting digital foundation aligned with the trust’s mission to “make people’s lives better through culture.”
